What is Hatton's second best win?

Kostya Tszyu is obviously first... OBVIOUSLY.

Some prime candidates for the silver medal on his resume:

Luis Collazo - He's a damn good welterweight, but it was a very close fight.
Paulie Malignaggi - I'm watching the fight right now... Malignaggi is slick and has a tremendous jab, and Hatton crushed him. Very impressive.
Jose Luis Castillo - Lots of name value, but in my view, shot to death before the fight. The Reyes and Ngoudjo fights gave some evidence and his streak of losses against average fighters gives this theory credence as well.
Carlos Maussa - A champion who knocked out the highly regarded (at the time at least) Vivan Harris. Definitely a rumor that his win over Harris was a fluke and he was a one-hit wonder though.
Juan Urango - Very good fighter, still only one loss to this day. Made an example out of Ngoudjo recently to pick up a belt.

Vote in the poll... in my vote, I'm going to include margin of victory in my decision... Collazo might be the best fighter on the resume, but the way the fight looked makes it less impressive.

    I voted Malignaggi.

i'd say the castillo win....call him old, or past his prime or whatever, but hatton stopping him with a bodyshot, as quickly as he did was impressive to me.

i was on my way to watch the fight, by the time i got there it was over. i had to watch replays to see what the hell was going on.

I think Collazo, I though he edged that fight and Collazo is a pretty damn good fighter.

Urango and Malinaggi are probably tied for 2nd best at 140.

I'll say Collazo even though I thought he lost.

          Urango is wayyyyyyyy underrated...

I think I would edge it to Malignaggi because I do think that Malignaggi would beat Urango head to head... that jab man, it's beautiful.

I can't believe a no power fighter who breaks his right hand constantly is able to win championship fights with just his jab. That's really impressive to me.

hatton deserves more credit then what he gets for the castillo win....castillo was ranked number 2 jr. welter at the time.....that his second best win resume wise imo

To me his 2nd most impressive win was the collazo fight....hatton looks like dwarf compared to collazo in that fight....and yes the judges got the scorecards right....if you dont think so your clearly either a hater or a collazo fan boy.....also hatton is not a great welter....and fought impressively to me in that fight.

Too close a fight to be concidered 2nd best win. a very good win but as the fight was so close he didnt shine.

Paulie Malignaggi - I'm watching the fight right now... Malignaggi is slick and has a tremendous jab, and Hatton crushed him. Very impressive.
Very, very good win. Absolutly dominated the next best fighter in the division, a fighter who was supposed to give him lots of problems but never did. Cant be concidered 2nd best though as he hits about as hard as my granny, and she's 90.

Jose Luis Castillo - Lots of name value, but in my view, shot to death before the fight. The Reyes and Ngoudjo fights gave some evidence and his streak of losses against average fighters gives this theory credence as well.
You pretty much covered it, brutal KO of a named fighter, but he was shot to pieces so cant be his 2nd best win.

Carlos Maussa - A champion who knocked out the highly regarded (at the time at least) Vivan Harris. Definitely a rumor that his win over Harris was a fluke and he was a one-hit wonder though.
                Average/good win. Nothing special.

Juan Urango - Very good fighter, still only one loss to this day. Made an example out of Ngoudjo recently to pick up a belt.

We have a winner imo. Completley dominated a very solid fighter, who since the loss to Hatton has shown his quality. Won by 11 rounds. Urango will do big things in JWW, and I would pick him to beat Bradley if they fough.

I voted Urango. I stated the reasons in your quote

                  1. Tszyu
                  2. Castillo

I'm just glad no one has voted for Maussa so far. He's clearly the worst on the list, but I did include him because he was a beltholder.
