Keep in mind, this is without a doubt the biggest fight of his life. Like any champion, I'm sure he's fine tuning what he already has prepared in his arsenal as well as being physically in shape to fight 12 rounds.
i agree....overtraing to be in too good shape, is not the same as ovetraining to get yourself into shape. if he loses, it'll be because hatton is better.

im not saying a fighter should have trouble making weight but a fighter should have totrain hard for it and it should leave him a little bit spent, the fact that manny is able to make the weight easy tells me he should be at LW.

at 140 when he tastes hattons power hes going to know what hes let himself in for

I love it- Pacquaio has a Rocky mentality when it comes to training...

Professional fighters who are in prime shape like Manny should not have issues at all making weight. If anything, Hatton would be the one to worry more about being how he baloons in between fights and was close to 170lbs before the fight was signed. Manny's reoportedly only had to cut maybe 10lbs from his walk around weight in total just to make the Jr WW limit leaving more room to train strategically for the fight. Both fighters will be strong in the fight, but Manny's jogging just to keep his stamina abroad does no harm to him as the peak of his training and that of Hatton's has finished and are now going along through the mental aspects more than anything with the fight a few days away.
