He had a tough enough time against Juan Diaz who had him on wobbly legs and Diaz isn't anywhere near the caliber of Floyd, so truthfully...how competitive would this fight have been? I think the assumption that people would be like "Wooow Floyd beat JMM!" is crazy and pretty much everyone was saying it was a mismatch to begin with.

Floyd's made it very clear he's not going down to 140. I guarantee you he fights a Welterweight in his next fight and possibly the rest of his career. JMM vs Floyd all in all was a pipe dream.

I gotta say... I'm hyped about his return.

I became a Mayweather fan after he beat Hatton and is one of my favourite fighters after I looked at his past fights even the early ones with uncle roger.

I know you Miguel Cotto fans want to see Floyd Mayweather Jr get it on
with him and I do too but when/if this fight happens you will see EVERY
flaw that Cotto has get exposed in the ring worse than how Margarito
pulled his card (Alleged Plaster aside). It's funny because people keep
talking about Cotto like he is the best but this guy got schooled by a
1 dimensional fighter that Paul Williams and Shane Mosley made look
like the average fighter he was/is. Didn't Floyd school Cotto's child
hood friend Henry Bruseles?

& didn't Cotto help get Bruseles ready by sparring with him before
his fight with Floyd? & what happened to Henry Bruseles the night
of the fight? "Mayweather easily outclassed Bruseles throughout

watching his boy get schooled. Also to sum up my point..........wasn't

there is a big big possibility that that manny will fyt miguel next if he wins over ricky because
1) it means more $$$ for arum, both are TR; more $$$ too for manny without the $20M for floyd
2) freddie don't like floyd's style for manny, "it will be a very difficult fyt for us"
