In terms of Paul Williams, he's a player in the division, as is Manny Pacquiao. Manny is even ranked by The Ring Magazine at 147. If you took off 147, you still have to prove dominance over 122 and 135, with the roster at 168, and the numbers don't provide that.

    122 or 135 > 168.
The only reason Pacquiao is ranked there because he fought DLH for the money fight. He weighed in at 142 lbs in that fight, and HASN'T planned to move up and Williams after dominating Wright, has said he wont move to 147 UNLESS its a big fight like Cotto or Mosley.

Were talking about NOW. Is Margarito relevant right now? Not for an year, so about NOW 168 lbs is the best IMO.

      147:
      Shane Mosley (p4p)
      Miguel Cotto (p4p)
      Manny Pacquiao (p4p number 1)
      Paul Williams
      Antonio Margarito (former p4p)
      Joshua Clottey
      Andre Berto
      Luis Collazo
      Floyd Mayweather
Victor Ortiz(Should move up in a year or two he is 5'9)
      Timothy Bradley
      Carlos Quintana

      Now that's a fucking division

Hatton wont be moving up, did he say that? If yes provide me a source. Because I can provide you a source with Pavlik and Abraham saying they will. Ortiz and Bradley? Are you guessing they will? Pavlik and Abraham have had a total of 24 fights above 160 pounds...Hatton and Pacman have had 3 fights combined above 140 lbs. Hatton: Collazo and Mayweather, Pacman with De La Hoya in which he weighed at 142 lbs.

I doubt Hatton moves up at 147 after what happened with him against Collazo and Mayweather, he has admitted moving to 147 was a mistake he wouldn't make in the future, he did it for the CHALLENGE.

Bradley, Pacquiao? You forgot to list JMM, Casamayor, Calderon, Donaire.

Margarito is irrelevant for an year or more.

Quintana and Collazo arent elites, read post #23 of this thread, I could have mentioned a lot of contenders but didn't.

Williams will move down but to fight Cotto or Mosley, The mosley fight has been turned down twice when Goosen tried to contact them, then a few days later Mosley publicly said he "I wouldn't fight him".

Pacman has beaten Oscar at WW. Who has AA/Pavlik beaten at SMW???

Bradley said WW is his plans in the near future.
How is Carlos Q not elite, didn't beat Paul Williams. Collazo could have gotten decisions over Hatton and Berto.

Arthur Abraham has beaten Miranda and Pavlik has beaten Taylor at Super middleweight in their rematches.

Besides, How much did Pacman weigh in? 142 lbs... just one fight which was for the MEGABUCKS, just the money... and Pac was 5 pounds below the Welterweight limit of 147 lbs Are you guys saying Pacquiao is a welterweight? Please enlighten me.

Roach and Pacman has said they dont plan to fight at 147, and Roach has said if there is a fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao it wont be at Welterweight.

Pacman has beaten Oscar at WW and will fight in that division after he beats Hatton. How is that not a WW?? He will fight either Cotto or PBF

It will be at WW. Floyd is not ******. They willingly to fight Oscar at 147 yet not Mayweather. Pacman has no disadvantage at 147 against PBF

It will probably be a catch weight of 143-144 lbs.
