Taylor was hurt too much to do anything, and Froch was still fighting hard. I respected Jermain for getting up off the floor.

Taylor is one of my favorite fighters. He lost no respect from me. He just got caught. Hes still one of the best in the division its just that his mind isnt made for wars. He has all the skill and athleticism in the world and he has a decent chin, its just he isnt made for wars.

He would have deserved the decision if not for that last round. I've been tough on him, but he gave a good account last night.

I respect Taylor, nothing changed since last night, I knew he'd get KO'd but give his all, so for that, respect. He simply doesn't have the desire any more, he's been to the top already and now lives comfortably. What's that saying... hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and a fighter with something to prove. Last night Froch had something to prove.

I already respected him but he improved upon it by getting back on his feet in the last round and making an effort to finish the fight, despite taking an absurd amount of punishment.

I lost a little faith in him though, and his chances to re-establish himself as a top fighter... he's got a lot to prove if he wants to make people believe in him again.

Hes a good fighter, he could be a champion again, if there was ever a rematch im sure he could win against froch.....

Seems like a humble person, gracious in defeat...i think thts how people shld be and liked how he stuck up for the ref....ref's get alot of stick and its nice to see boxers seeing their point of view.

So his efforts against froch and what he said after the fight gained more respect from me!
