    Yeah, it's unfortunate really.

he has the courage to fight anyone......

but he doesn't have heart enough to do what it takes to win.....you're winning a fight this easily, and you give it away, the last 30 seconds? its ridiculous......heart is what you fall back on, when you get fatigued, and are having trouble finishing. if he had heart, taylor would've dug deep, fired off a couple shots, and lasted the final 14 seconds.

Here's what's really sad. Scoring it for the 2nd time, I've still only got Froch winning one round through the first 8. How did Taylor ever lose to this guy?

He seems to have Problems with the simple 1-2 Combo.. if you throw a straight right with a slight delay after a jab or two.. he opens his guard like clockwork and the right finds him.. Pavlik did exactly that.. and once Froch and his corner realised it.. it was game over..

I havnt watched this fight again yet. Can anyone recount the specific punch that started the road to the first knockdown? The stream I was watching on was weak, but I remember Taylor moving his legs, pretending he was stable and then a Froch right hand came for him as his guard was completley down. Wat happened before that though.

That's exactly right. I don't even think it has anything to do with the jab. Taylor's undoing is a straight right hand, and it's the only punch that his opponents can land with regularity. Its the punch that started the begining of the end against Pavlik, it's the punch that hurt him against Froch, and it is the punch Hopkins used to put him on ***** street.

A straight right hand is the punch that staggered Taylor, which started the end.
