    Jermaine Taylor...

I hated the Guy after the B-Hop fights.. and bashed him throughout his Middleweight reign.. even though he is an intelligent and thoughtful man...
But come on!!.. lately the guy is so classy and Honest.. I can't not like him any longer.. He is a true gentleman .. and maybe that is why he has No killer instinct..

I hope he doesn't quit.. Unlike Judah(who many people are now comparing Taylor too) Taylor has plenty of heart.. If he could just pace himself.. Maybe HE should give away the 1st few rounds for once.. and come on strong later in the fight..?? He is too good to be this bad.. Something should be able to change so this guy can realise his FULL potential..

I am not convinced he is done.. and It's funny because it takes his losses to make see how good he really is..

I think he should Fight Edison Miranda...

Give some Props to Taylor.. one of the true GOOD guys of the sport..

I don't think many could dog on him for who he has fought.

He took the risks, didn't always get the rewards, but such is life.

what he needs to do is push himself in training so he can use that potential to dominate the division

You must be a Hopkins fan because Taylor in 2009 is no different than he was in 2005 or any time before that. I've been one of his biggest supporters on this forum. I picked him to beat Hopkins and I've always supported him as frustrating as he is. But you're saying all the wrong things.

          1. He's always been a nice guy and honest with his answers

          2. He doesn't have heart or he wouldn't have lost to Pavlik and Froch

I'll always like JT, but to say these things now just shows a little ignorance. He's never been a punk and the only time he's ever shown any heart whatsoever in a fight was when he fought in the 11th round of the 2nd Hopkins fight.

And he IS another Judah because he has all the talent in the world and doesn't use it. He's no different than Judah and Campbell. Career underachievers.

He is just not hungry enough anymore.I dont think he will ever hit the heights again, which is a shame given his obvious talent.I believe he has looked after his cash,so good luck to him.

Another thing I would like to say about him is that he is a class act who is as magnanimous in defeat as he is in victory.People like him are a credit to the sport.

There is no excuse for losing to a guy like Carl Froch. It's not Judah losing to Baldomir, but it's pretty embarrassing. I like Froch. I think he's fun to watch and he's not afraid of anyone, but he is not a great fighter at all. He should have been stopped certainly by the 6th round.

No my problem was not that I was B-Hop fan.. It was that I wasn't a Taylor fan.. It had nothing to do with Ignorance and everything to do with personal taste.. Opinions are fickle things my friend and inclined to change..

I have simply grown to respect Jermaine Taylor..

I felt sad seeing Taylor get hurt like that. He is a down to earth, honest guy, and had nothing but good things to say about Froch after the fight. I just hope he can become a world champion again.
