What Im saying boxing as a sport will be on a complete different level without somebody like pacquiao to make it exciting with the drama, hype and all. Get my point?
I'm 26, trust me man I was there. My pop's was a big boxing fan and always bought the big name PPVs since I could remember. I grew up watching boxing.. but I know what you mean. There's always someone that is a poster child of boxing in their respective era.

Boxing wouldn't be dead, but boxing certainly needs exciting fighters like Pacquiao to attract more fans

Most of the people now are switching to MMA because most fights are boring.

            Any thoughts?

This is correct. Wepner was one tough liquor salesman
