I'm not saying it isn't but...it seems to me that JT just doesn't have good stamina.

If it was to do with his preparation/conditioning, then he probably would've been better in that department when working with Manny Steward, but that wasn't the case IMO.
Whatever the reasoning, be it poor conditioning or just genetic predisposition, his stamina is not there.

I tend to believe it's training related considering he threw over 1000 punches against Alfredo Cuevas back in 2003. In his recent fights his output isn't even approaching half that. IMO the biggest mistake of his career was leaving Pat Burns for Manny Steward. The second biggest was not bringing Burns back into the fold after firing Manny.

I will always support him because I think he's a gentleman and good for the sport, but I don't know that I will pick him to win against another top opponent until he proves he can go 12 rounds again.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to try and check that fight out.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Taylor ended up fighting Roy Jones. I think Roy should retire, but at the same time it's a matchup that I would find interesting.

Froch beats Kessler by late KO IMO.

It was on FNF but I don't have a copy and it's tough to find one after TKO24.com went down.

Taylor actually set the Compubox MW record for most jabs thrown in that fight with 677.

So at one time he was in TREMENDOUS shape.

So what fight is most likely to be made...

            Froch-Kessler
            Froch-Pavlik
            Froch-Bute
            Froch-Taylor II

Froch deserves an easy defense next IMO. Next big fight in the division will likely be Bute-Froch.

I doubt anyone want's to negotiate Kessler before his managerial problems has been sorted out.

Pavlik will likely stay at 160 at least another year I'd say.

I would like to see Froch-Bute, but the Andrade fight will mean that can't happen straight away.

I'm not sure who is available for Froch to fight next, perhaps he should wait for the dust to settle after the upcoming fights and see who is interested.

even tho i won betting on froch i am disappointed with his performance.
he fought the same type of dumbass fight that he did against pascal.

i see kessler patiently busting up froch big time. easily!

Froch would be lucky to survive that fight losing a wide decision @ 120-108.
Most likely, Froch gets ko'd by 8 or so!
