Taylor needs his legs to Jab. Watch him walk back to the corner after the 5th or 6th round, his right leg is dead tired, you can tell from his walk. Its not a coincidence that he stopped jabbing after his legs got tired.

He doesn't have the spring in his legs any more either. His legs looked shaky from the first round.

I know Taylor has never had the best footwork, but tonight it was just really really bad. To the point that I think he is on the slide physically.

So why fight a rematch?

Taylor had his chance, and he couldn't get the job done. Next person up to bat.
Nah Froch should go and unify with Kessler or Bute. Taylor should try and get the winner of Ward vs Miranda.

Ask any boxer, any real boxer. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning.

The only way to confirm this is for Taylor to fight again to see how his legs are, I think it's a stamina problem, he seems to get tired very easily. We'll see.

            No.

Challenger wins close fight by SD, maybe a rematch (not that Froch would have got one) but Champion wins by KO, no rematch, it's that simple. There was no controversy surrounding the result, other than some prick over at E***s**e who seems to think the ref should have let Froch smash Taylor's face in for another 14 seconds to let him win the fight. It doesn't matter diddly whether the stoppage was 15 seconds from the start of the fight or 15 seconds from the end of it, and it matters even less who happened to be ahead on the scorecards before it happened.

The only reason this would happen is money; there's nothing in it for Froch otherwise.

I would like to see a bit of humility from those that backed against Froch.

he deserves a remathch no doubt in my eyes, if he would stayed on his feet and at least throw in more punch in that 14 secs remaining he would of won the fight
