Dude you're an idiot. I'm not a fan of either fighter. I used to be a Calzaghe basher but I respect the guy and wish he was still around to fight.

If you can't see the difference in speed and overall skillset between Calzaghe and Froch than you are clearly biased.

LMAO at him calling out Joe Calzaghe.

Joe Calzaghe will beat the **** out of this dude. Absolutely beat to a pulp. As soon as Froch throws a punch Calzaghe will have hit him three times.
Regardless of Froch's actual chances against Joe. You're still the guy who said 2008 Jones Jr. had "plenty enough to beat Joe Calzaghe". You'd be better off going back to the Lounge.

He is but you gotta celebrate him for what he is and look at his good points. A tough SOB, good chin, bags of heart and good power.

Froch does love himself a bit, and im sure he will replay that KO of JT over and over again on his dvd player.
But i wonder how froch thinks about the earlier rounds where he was made to feel ordinary?

Does froch still think he is so good i wonder is basically what im getting at? Will he calm down with the praising of his own abilities publicly?

Going to America on his 1st defense and facing Jermain Taylor and beating him by TKO... hmm yea sounds impressive to me.

Taylor has great skills and completely nulified Frochs attacks prior to rounds 7+, other fighters would be looking to take the first rounds and let the guy wear himself out but Froch couldn't do that.

After 7+ rounds where boxers would be looking to get a UD or finish off there opponents, Froch had to start working and make up for previous rounds.

Froch needs to forget Calzaghe. There's nothing wrong with occasional trash talk and trying to bait the top fighters in (although baiting 37 year-old retired fighters is kinda weak, IMO) but Froch needs to carve his own damn path. It's up to him to be better than Calzaghe rather than choosing to live in his shadow. Move on, Carl, FFS. Don't end up like Vitali calling out a 300 year-old Lewis.

Taylor is a pretty skilled (and very fast) boxer. Froch is still coming up, as it was only his 25th fight. To be fair to Froch I'd say he's still learning. Hopefully he will learn from the Taylor fight and work on rectifying his mistakes. If you recall during the post-fight interview he mentioned that he's still learning and wants to start quicker next time. Froch has always been a late starter and rarely finishes a fight early. I'll bet the Taylor and Pascal fights have given him valuable experience at world level and also a big boost in courage. Those are two very solid wins for a guy with 25 fights, so he's on the right track. Despite his current technical short-comings, this guy will be extremely tough to beat and may end up being avoided by many, though.
