See I saw a different fight, his punches didn't have nearly as much of an effect on his guy that they usually have. And I saw Lopez slow down 3 or 4 rounds before it stopped. As for him tee'n off with power punches, he was able to do that cause Gerry would just shell-up and not throw anything back for long periods of time. From what I've seen of Lopez initially, I definitely didn't see it tonight. That fight was more peculiar for me then anything.

ahahhaa, Lopez threw 138 Punches in the 8th round, how the **** he was slowing down?

lol Obviously we did see different fights. Lopez' punch usually contorts the head somewhat with little effort, lol he was wingin em like a beast to less effect tonight. I mean he was fightin a smaller guy and tee'n off, but that initial and immediate power didn't even look like it was there for him tonight. It was weird s$#%.

more than anything else, it only proves that juanma has great stamina and can dish out combination after combination, whether its a first rd KO or a hard, 9th rd TKO.

All I know, is If that was Vasquez or Marquez in there, that s#$% would have been fire. Lopez' punch definitely didn't seem that deadly tonight, for whatever reason. I mean he throws solid shots, but they looked nothin like what I've seen from him in the past.

A power puncher hurts lopez badly......a heavy handed guy hit lopez with some of the shots gerry landed.....lopez is hurt.....and lets face it gerry is not a true 122 pound fighter.

I was thinking the same thing could happen, but Juanma was determine to try to knockout Penalosa and wasn't really afraid of his punching power. He could have tried to beat him from a distance, but he wanted to knock him out so he gave it his all.

I thought he would get tired if he kept fighting that way, but even though it was said that he was a little bit sick the guy kept on coming. He landed over 1000 punches about half were power punches and there were still three rounds left. Thats absolutely amazing.

Lopez had to re-wrap his hands before this fight in front of Roach, and nobody finds it weird his punches didn't even look like the normal vicious head snapping shots he normally throws? Call it paranoia or whatever you want, but that s$#% is beyond su****ious. lol I mean ****, if anything, Vasquez and Marquez are drooling for a shot at Lopez now. They got some real hands to put on this guy, and he does get hit flush. And I definitely wouldn't let Lopez wrap his hands without havin my people there to witness it. Cause that s#$% was weird as hell to see Lopez actually bein forced to break a guy down.

Just to add everyone knows Penalosa never has been knocked out. I heard he never even has been knocked to the floor. what ever people say. Nobody has done this to him and everyone that believes they can do better because Penalosa wasn't throwing back punches for a long period of time other s are welcome to do so. Its hard for someone to come back with combinations when his opponnet is throwing power shots and just wont stop.

lol I ain't sayin s$% other then what I heard. I heard Roach went to Juanma's room, Lopez had his hands wrapped already. Roach thought that was disrespectful, so they re-wrapped. Then Juanma's team told Roach that Gerry has too much gauze in his fist.

lol Now again, I ain't sayin ****. I'm just sayin it's weird this happened on the same night where Lopez' punch didn't look the same. And honestly, lol as a fan of Izzy and Raf, I'd keep an eye on that s#$% if I were them. Now I'm not gonna start accusing Lopez of cheatin or whatever, I'm just sayin I'd take note of that s#$% if I had to fight Lopez.
