I'm just sayin, Lopez usually puts bombs on people. I'll re-watch the fight, but he didn't look nearly as strong as he has in the past. Once I heard them announce that Roach made them re-wrap etc etc, I know I couldn't have been the only one thinkin in the back of his head that this fight wasn't gonna be a complete blow out for Lopez. With all this **** about Marg, how can you not wonder?

But yeah, I ain't accusing Lopez of s#$%, I'm just sayin that was weird to say the least. If he looks that much less effective in a fight where he had to re-wrap...lol That s#$% just makes me wonder. If I'm Vasquez or Marquez, I'd keep an eye on that same thing.

i hear what you're saying man, i think Izzy and Rafa can give him a tough fight but... how the hell did he look LESS EFFECTIVE?? if anything i gained more respect that he went into deep waters and was still punishing Penalosa and was just straight up pumeling him with power shot after power shot... personally i'd pay anything to see JuanMa vs Izzy it'd be great for the sport b/c both can also take a punch in addition to dishing it out

I'd still like to see what Juanma's chin is made of. He fought a tough fight tonight. I was impressed with his ability to fight inside. But Penalosa is not a puncher.

See I saw a different fight, his punches didn't have nearly as much of an effect on his guy that they usually have. And I saw Lopez slow down 3 or 4 rounds before it stopped. As for him tee'n off with power punches, he was able to do that cause Gerry would just shell-up and not throw anything back for long periods of time. From what I've seen of Lopez initially, I definitely didn't see it tonight. That fight was more peculiar for me then anything.
