Where did you see Juanma frustrated TALIBA. I see you just like bashing. You dont even know what you be talking about. I give all the respect to Penalosa, great boxer and warrior, but Juanma was not frustrated at all. He kept boxing and landing punches in bunches. Uhmm, and yes he did got dazzed in a couple occasions but didn't went down, because he's got really good defense and showed he could last. Juanma showed heart and stamina throughout the fight. Common be serious with yourself. Please just stop adding extra details that didn't even happen in the fight.
Like I sad before, I give props to both fighters, both are great boxers and gave everything they could. Great fight.Comment

What battering? Where did you get that idea? Our champ,Gerry Penalosa, was giving Juanma a good fight when the fight was prematurely stopped upon Roach's decision (very clearly over the protest of Penalosa - only showing Roach doesn't really know "his" fighter well). Although admittedly Juanma threw more punches, we didn't see a battered Penalosa. Neither did we see a daze Penalosa. We saw a frustrated and tiring Juanma in the 9th Round. If the fight was just continued, we are confident Penalosa would have stopped Juanma in the later rounds.Lulz. Had a good chuckle when I read this.
Other than that though it's refreshing to see 2 groups of peoples (PR's and Filipinos) come together and give props to each of the fighters and not let it devolve into a racial flame war. Much respect to Gerry for showing such a warrior's heart and I'm glad my people gave him a standing O after the fight seeing as how he deserved it.Comment

By Jake Donovan - More than 10,000 fans filed into a sold out Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez, as clear of an indication as any that La Isla del Encante has quickly adopted young JuanMa as its latest prodigal son. The southpaw ****er did everything to give the fans their money’s worth, determined to become the first fighter to stop Penalosa in the Filipino’s long and storied career. [details]Comment
