Froch vs Taylor Rematch To Come in The Near Future?

It's the only fight out there for him, IMHO. And honestly, if he wants it badly enough and doesn't fanny around in training, he would beat Froch. I like Carl, but he was lucky that he fought a fighter who probably didn't take him seriously enough, and who is renowned for gassing in fights.
Kessler would destroy Froch though. But it would be a huge fight in Europe.Last edited by Dave Rado; 04-26-2009, 12:19 AM.Comment

I'm sure Taylor would like a rematch, but I see no earthly reason Froch would give him one other than a very good financial deal I doubt Taylor is likely to be worth any more. Taylor sure as hell wouldn't have given Froch a rematch if he'd got the SD, unless it was in the contract (which I very much doubt, in this case). Froch was and is still the champ, who stopped the challenger on his own turf, and the other belt-holders await.
Forget Froch v. Taylor II, roll on Froch v. Kessler.
Still I'd be happy to see either fight.Last edited by Dave Rado; 04-26-2009, 01:28 AM.Comment

I saw the fight live, just got home. Taylor was content to jab from the outside. Definately should have been more aggressive, he showed a few times that he was able to hurt froch, but only went on the offensive in spurts. it was disappointing, i was really hoping taylor would win.Comment

His poor stamina is frustrating as hell. He had no reason to be tired in that fight; it's not as though his punch output was outrageous before he gassed... he just needs to work with a conditioning specialist... BEFORE his next training camp.Comment

Jermain wasn't getting tagged with huge shots until he got tired. He wasn't throwing much from the 7th round forward, which allowed Froch to get his punches off and eventually get around Taylor's guard.
