I got Gamboa winning, but it would be hard for people to make Gamboa the favorite, even if he's a top prospect, Caballero has been on a rampage, is a unified champ, has more pro experience and his utter destruction of Steve Molitor was very impressive. Plus his huge size advantage and the perception (true or not) that Gamboa has a weak chin are all factors that would make gamboa the underdog.
well you do have a point. I think gamboa will win with a surprisingly fast ko. maybe in the first or second with one of those deadly right hooks he throws

well right against some bum. Gamboa likes to stay busy (very good thing), so I'm sure he'll fight at least two times before his fight in July.

Gamboa's tight, often times you'll check boxrec and you'll see like 3 fights scheduled in the future already. I like that he stays very active and fights on ESPN, HBO and Showtime. That's the way to do it!

I think he'll win too but have you seen Caballero fight before? He really is a certified beast, he's the Paul Williams of 122. He's a freak of nature and he does have power.

This is his last fight against undefeated, and at the time ranked in the top 10 pound 4 pound, Steve Molitor:

And this video is just the end. It was a pure ass whoopin from the opening bell to the final KO

he's definitely a candidate for p4p maybe a lil bit sooner than 3 but he needs to work on his defense esp that his future fights are not gonna get easier.i think he can be great up to135 max..

Unless he learns how to put his hands up I see any big power puncher sending him down for good.
