Floyd beating Pacman at 147 is the same as Pernell beating JCC at 147

Campbell is too old to fight the Pac. The critics won't give him credits if he fights Nate.

Guzman is a waste of time. Couldn't even make weight @ 135.

Diaz got better record than Nate that time. Diaz is a good boxer before Pac exposed him.
Pacman choose to force Morales back to 130, instead of fighting him there or fighting his conquerer.

One fight was a draw idiot and second one was JMM. The boxing world scored it for JMM

Campbell held all 3 titles at one stage and Guzman is a top LW.

Are you saying Diaz is better than Nate???

Pac won the second time you are the idiot.

I said Diaz got better RECORD. Nate campbell at that time 31W - 5L and Diaz got 34W - 1L

      You fucking moron.

campbell got all 3 titles in 1 fight.

campbell has 2 solid wins. kid diamond and juan diaz.

david has 2 as well. santa cruz and erik morales. 3 if you want to count emmanuel burton.

aside from casa most of the guys at lightweight when pac moved up have very limited resumes.

nate might be better than david but david actually had the more impressive resume. especially considering that they planned the pac-diaz fight before pac fought jmm and before nate even beat juan yet.

as far as guzman being ducked by pacquiao......guzman didn't become top rated at 130 'til pacquiao and the guys pacquiao fought at 130 (marquez , morales and barrera) left 130.

guzman didn't have a solid win 'til barrios barely over 2 years ago.

            i disagree.

mayweather was the most dominant at 130 but to me he's at his best weight at 135-140.

Chavez had been dominating 140lbs for years. Pacquiao, assuming he beats Hatton, will have had one fight at 140lbs over a guy who in theory is actually made to beat for him.
and even then, there are a lot of top guys that Hatton himself hasnt faced at 140lbs. the only top guy there hes beaten in a while is Malignaggi, who cant punch for ass.
although the Urango win is looking better and better, but that was pretty long time ago, and imo Urango has gotten very noticably better since then too. and if Urango was top ten then, it was obly because he got a pretty awful robbery win over Ben Rabah.

              so no, its very different.

Straight up blackirish. Another poster who thought he lost to Ben Rabah.

God bless you man. I've been saying that for years.

This thread has just opened up Pacquiao excuses

Pacquiao will probably outweigh Floyd by fight night, should be a great fight

                    Excellent thread by the TS.

I agree. Even though Pacquiao is not nearly of a threat to Floyd as someone like Williams, but when it's all said and done in the history books... A win over Pacquiao (the man who beat all the washed up Mexicans) is more historic.

Roach is trying his hardest to deny Floyd that legacy, by saying they don't need him. This is the only reason why Floyd is taking Marquez's challenge. He will white wash him and everyone will demand Pac fight Floyd. (If he beats Hatton)

If he white washes Marquez then Pac probably will avoid the fight because it will show that Mayweather easily disposed of a lightweight that he had major problems with. He would have every right to do so since Pac has no business being at welterweight in my opinion. He should go back to 135 after Hatton.
