Mayweather is the type of guy that draws ex Boxing fans back to the Sport because of his outspoken loud persona, and then when he puts on one of his boring ass performances and fights like a girl after talking like a warrior, they remember why they left Boxing to become MMA fans and they return to just watching MMA.

Before fights he acts as though he is a cross between Mike Tyson and Gerald McClellan. However when he gets into the ring he fights more like a cross between Hector Camacho and Cory Spinks.

mayweather isnt all that different from quite a few other all time greats who pulled his style of antics. If you know the sport historically, then you know there have been many other arrogant, brash and frustratingly mouthy boxers who have risen, fallen sometimes risen again or fell permenently. If you revolve your life and your time and energy into one guy and into hating him, you basically play into the game he laid out in the first place. The welfare of the sport doesnt revolve around one fighter and if you think it does, then i think you yourself need to step away from the computer and actually watch or pay attention to other fighters.

Supporting that fighter doesnt bring down some house of cards of a sport. That notion is asinine and misinformed.

Im a Cotto fan because i enjoy watching him not because he is successful, if Cotto lost the next 5 fights and got KTFO i would still be a fan, where as if that happened to Floyd you would move on to the next guy who is top of the Sport.

That is why you dont care what Mayweather does, because you are not a fan you are a fan boy of successful fighters, flavour of the month, and the only reason you dont support Pac is because as you have stated you still believe Mayweather is the best in the world.
