Floyd Mayweather is a bad advert for Boxing

Its not over exaggerated if you are claiming to be the best. You are under more scrutiny than any other fighter when you are in that position.

No the guy just has no class, and you can see where he gets from when you listen to his uncle and father.

Not all people pay to see him lose. People also pay to watch a good competitive fight.

His theads get hits because there are "so called Boxing fans'" out there that actually have the audacity to claim they are Boxing fans yet contradict that notion by supporting his actions inside and outside the ring, thats why people get vexed.


Dont come that cop out "hate" If he fought the best fighters out there no one would be bothered what he did.

I cant see how someone can justify being a fan of this guy. If they are a fan of Boxing and care about the welfare of the sport you would not condone his actions. Yet most of his fans do, they make excuses for him to.

Some fighters enhance the reputation of the sport. Floyd had devalued the reputation of the sport. Some legacy eh.

Boxing is about the best fighting the best PERIOD. No ifs or but.

Jokes aside, though I don't really sympathize with this thread - Dynamite Kid is about 10 million times better a poster (and about 10 million times less of an empty posturing fuckwit) than El Gallo Clueless!

I find the hardcore anti-Floyds to be clueless wankers almost entirely to a man. Check my post history, if you need proof. But you're just the other side of the coin. How about letting some of it roll off and then use some of that time you save to talk about other boxing matters?

duran didn't even try so hard, so i won't support what he did, but cotto? if they quit because they were outworked and beaten by the best of their weight, of course i'll support that fighter. even more so if he put an amazing action fight for 11 rounds, something floyd has never done in his career

I said Corrales and Castillo are B+ fighters they are not elite, thats why most people would pick them to get spanked against other great fighters. Its not just about comparing them to ATG either, because Mosley would beat the pair of them. They are just not elite fighters, and thats the truth.

Thanks for proving me right. He fights Corrales best at 130 and Castillo best at 135 and you can't give him an ounce of credit.

He beat the elite at 130,135 he beat the champ at 140 even if it was at 147 and Oscar was elite at 154. Then all you do is make excuses.

No actually i am a boxing fan. I like watching many fighters then Mayweather.

I don't act like hes an angel whos tried to fight everyone. He has clearly fought alot of good fighters. You don't get handed world titles in 5 weight classes.
