    MIB,

You must admit. It seems a tad odd that a guy like Dynamite - with zero notable accomplishments in LIFE (Not just in sports. But in LIFE) can be so dismissive of another person who ascended to the very top of a sport.

A guy who represented his country in the Olympics.
A guy who writers - not fans - voted as the best in the game.
A guy who made many millions (and supports his family) doing something he loves.
A guy who kept on track when his dad/teacher/mentor went off to prison.

Nobody is compelled to LIKE Mayweather. He has a divisive public persona. Perhaps intentionally so. But if you don't respect his accomplishments, you are an abject buffoon.

LMAO. But the BEST part is: he hates Floyd's "personality" (some gay ***** **** if I've ever seen it) and his BORING fight style but is a fan of, wait for it- BERNARD HOPKINS.

        Exactly right.

(underneath it, though, I think D.K. does respect Floyd...even if he might not like admitting it. guy seems to alternate between playing devil's advocate and plain trolling for the sake of argument and thrashing things out. not that his posts don't represent his actual views to a degree, but that he exaggerates and overstates somewhat for effect)

Agree with all you said about Little Floyd's focus, fortitude, discipline, professionalism. And maybe if his inspiring, exemplary qualities hadn't always been so overlooked, Mayweather's Slim Shady wouldn't have been so necessary.

          Astute.

FMJ had been toying with that alter ego for awhile.

Gatti - disrespectful and braggadocious. "Gatti wouldn't go past six".
          Sharmba - quiet and respectful
Judah - kinda quiet. Released training vids talking smack. mildly respectful.
          Baldomir - Reserved. very respectful
Delahoya - Over-the-top from the word 'go'. Bordered on insanity.
Hatton - Disrespectful about RH's boxing, but not personally. Well, "midget" was not polite.

People forget that the persona they are seeing now (um, most recently) is very different from the early career stuff.

I want to bone Helen Mirren so bad. Jeez.

Side note: Why does Floyd have so much respect for Baldomir? There are a couple of guys who Floyd really likes: Corley and Baldo.

If we were to make a poll who has represented the sport badly throughout history you think Floyd's name would come top? surely there is a reason for that, and surely that dislike must originate from something Floyd has or hasn't done.

You people act like this dislike miraculously appeared for no reason. You are all delusional. You no the criticism people have of him is valid, but thats why most of you aint real Boxing fans, because you make excuses for him and pass it off. When that **** effects the sport.

People wanted to see him fight Zab before he lost to Baldy. Floyd wont fight someone though unless there is an angle to the fight. DLH was 34 by that time. He stopped taking Boxing serious a long time before that. We know this.

                Hernandez? He cherry picked Manfredy?

Im sorry i forgot about those ATG. Lucky they did not get their hands on EM, Barrera eh, they would of been fcuked

We are the ones disrespecting the sport because we want the best fighters to fight the best..........idiot

Well seeing as the fight with Zab was signed before Zab lost to Baldomir, thats pretty astonishing.

Listen i already know what your gonna say, ' Floyd ducked this and Floyd cherry picked that', bull****. But fact is when i asked you that time whether you would give credit to Floyd had he beaten both Cotto and Margarito, you said NO! And there was no justification either. You hate the guy and i think its out of pure jealousy.

PS, I'm a fan of the sport before a fan of any fighter.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can you hate a fighter like Floyd's personality? The guy's the reason 24/7 was so successful.

And how Dynamite is a fan of Hopkins, where he hates Floyd is just hillarious. I mean even Hopkins win over Pavlik werent that exciting to watch, unless your a Hopkins fan.
