Cotto is a prick....James Toney is a prick....and Vernon Forrest wheres your threads about them?

No he is just a classless little muppet. Its a good job there are fans like you out there that he can manipulate.

You think it was hype when he said he was better the SRR/SRL etc?

Most Mayweather fans are impressionable kids with no hairs around their balls. Its one of the reasons they can relate to such a imature person. Most Floyd fans are fans of that bottler Zab Judah to.

No, you just owned yourself by making yet another Floyd thread. Admit it, you are a fan.

Glad you can read minds now. Hey did you know that Bernard Hopkins does the exact same style heel role as Floyd? I mean he puts his own twist on it but you get the picture. Get Floyd's balls out of your mouth.

He has tons of dumb **** fans sure, attack them all you want.

            Disrespecting former great fighters.

Before fights he acts as though he is a cross between Mike Tyson and Gerald McClellan. However when he gets into the ring he fights more like a cross between Hector Camacho and Cory Spinks.

Guys like him are the reason there sport is floundering in America.

How can you support this guy and call yourself a Boxing fan?
Actually, the reason why Boxing is "floundering in America" is because there isn't enough guys like him.

Floyd is controversial, intriguing, and he put asses in the seats. That is good for any sport.

Exactly Jesus, I can't believe people are this ******. Ask any casual NON boxing fan about the sport and they all know about FLOYD.

Hell my conditioning coach (he's a football guy) doesn't follow boxing and he came to me the other day and was like "I heard Floyd was coming back". He doesn't know anything about ANY other fighters.

All my non -boxing buddies are the same way. Can you morons keep your hate to the FACTS please? I know that's hard, but try it. It's fun to use logic and FACTS.

Wtf are you talking about? Dont make bull**** threads like this. He gave the sport his life, and thats a pretty disrespectful thing to say.

He cherry picked fighting Oscar, erm who picked the weight class, picked his gloves and took a lion share of the money. He cherry picked Hatton? erm the no1 140 pounder an UNDEFEATED fighter?

Erm, he cherry picked Baldomir, the guy who was the lineal champ at 147? He cherry picked Zab who was a bum at 147?

He cherry picked Corrales and Castillo? He cherry picked Hernandez? He cherry picked Manfredy?

Listen you guys need to stop with all this bull****.

You guys are the ones that are ****ing up this sport, by discrediting the sports best fighters. You dont hear guys from the UFC discrediting Randy Couture or Anderson Silva. Floyds one of the best fighters we have in the sport and were lucky enough to watch someone of his talent. To say he's harming the sport is pretty ****ed up.

Very bad thread. I feel disgusted.

Yes on the whole and compared to other great fighters he is bad for Boxing. Especially when you consider the emergence of other sports. His role is even more important and the top of the sports whilst fans are leaving for other sports. If we were to make a poll who has represented the sport badly throughout history you think Floyd's name would come top? surely there is a reason for that, and surely that dislike must originate from something Floyd has or hasn't done.

You people act like this dislike miraculously appeared for no reason. You are all delusional. You no the criticism people have of him is valid, but thats why most of you aint real Boxing fans, because you make excuses for him and pass it off. When that **** effects the sport.

People wanted to see him fight Zab before he lost to Baldy. Floyd wont fight someone though unless there is an angle to the fight. DLH was 34 by that time. He stopped taking Boxing serious a long time before that. We know this.

                Hernandez? He cherry picked Manfredy?

Im sorry i forgot about those ATG. Lucky they did not get their hands on EM, Barrera eh, they would of been fcuked

We are the ones disrespecting the sport because we want the best fighters to fight the best..........idiot

How many asses he's put since his retirememnt. you cant' put asses in the seats if you aint fighting and if you refuse to fight the big fights and some big names. Mitchell, Gatti, Baldomir. that aint putting asses in the seats. He's won more recognition because he says he greater than he really is and doesn't fight any great fighter except the smaller ones that move up in weight. He's now brings more money, but that was thanx to Oscar DLH. Its a little late to say he puts asses in the seats when his career is at its ending.

I'm sorry, but the first two sentences made me spit out my oatmeal from laughing.

                    Jesus. LOL.

I can ask you the same thing about any fighter. How many asses has Muhammad Ali put in seats since his retirement? Jeez, talk about an unfair question.

His refusal to fight the big fights? If I'm not mistaken Floyd has been in two of the top three biggest fights in boxing, history. Which is more than what Mike Tyson, or Oscar De La Hoya can say.

In fact that's why Floyd was largely criticized, because he went after the super fights, rather than fight people such as Miguel Cotto or Antonio Margarito.

And that means what? so what if they know his name. He brings controversy, because his fights are so boring and he cant sell a ticket.

Wake the fcuk up. The media pushes his bad rep, he gets attention, but those people soon turn away from the sport when he bores them to death wtih his Boxing displays.
