Please respond. Hatton is he elite?

Hatton is he an elite fighter or just an good fighter? Yes or No

Remember elite fighters are ones who can dominate divisions if weight and height werent an issue and also possess the skills to hold there own. By skills I mean boxing, power, speed, footwork, countering, defense, etc.....

Yes, Ricky Hatton is one of boxing's elite fighters. He's been the champion at super lightweight for a four years now.

I hope he defeats Pacquiao, maybe then he'll finally be given some of the recognition he deserves.

He is elite in the sense that he dominated 140 during his era. He beat Castillo, Tszyu, Urango and Malignaggi. He lost only to the best of this era. He moved up and had a difficult-but-credible win over Luis Collazo. Floyd Mayweather doesn't know who Collazo is, but Andre Berto damn sure knows. He spent a long time on the top 10 p4p.

Does he have 'elite' boxing skills? No. But if you do ONE thing well enough, you can dominate until someone figures out how to beat you.

That is an ambiguous answer, but using your criteria, YES. Hatton is elite.

He is elite in the JWW division, but that's not saying much. Put him at Welterweight and he would be B level. He is not high on the P4P list (not even on mine).

He is elite in the fact that he sells tickets and that but as a fighter he's not very elite, just one dimensional but his style prevails in a poor weight division.

I think if Hatton wasn't elite Pac wouldn't be interested in fighting him.
