nah I live montreal canada which is supposed to be one of the biggest promoters of boxing in the world. Yet the montreal public knows **** about boxing up in here it's all about the montreal canadiens hockey team

Boxing is just one of those sports... kinda like, appeals to some people and not so much to others.

Have you read my post at all. It's not the point that boxing is for nerds. It's that us boxing fans are a minority, hidden underground and boxing is severely unappreciated and forgotten especially for the amatuers.

I know you weren't attacking anyone, I'm not offended by the term nerd. Technically everyone on this planet is a nerd, because were all into different things.

I think it depends where you live boxing in the UK is fairly mainstream stuff. Joe Calzaghe won sports personality of the year recently.
