True greatness is the fighters u fought & the risk u took.

Who is the greatest fighter on floyd jr's resume?

    old oscar
    corrales
    hatton
    castillo
    gatti

    That's greatness?
Well moving up 5 times is risky. Corrales was undefeated at the time. Castillo and Hatton are good fighters. The Oscar, Floyd fought wudda beaten any other 154-pounder that night except maybe Forrest...

    • I feel rather shocked that this fight is going to happen, and Tito is going to get $15 Million Dollars. I really don't see the point in this fight, especailly from Hopkins's point of view as there are much more competitve and more legacy worthy fights out there for him. The only reasonable explanation would be the $$$.

And I really don't know what threats Trinidad can pose to Hopkins now, as he cound't pose any in his prime. And since then Hopkins hasn't hardly even faded as a fighter.

      Shocking!

      • ****ing joke fight. Hopkins, fight Chad Dawson or get your holding, headbutting, hugging ass out of boxing. NO ONE wants to see your fights anymore, especially against Trinidad.

Trinidad is a non-entity above 154 pounds PERIOD and he'd get ****ing destroyed by anyone 154 or below anyway.

Hopkins has faded as a fighter, watch his ****ty boring fights now.

1 good fight every 10 years doesn't make you a great fighter.

          • Trinidad is still a big draw because people know he comes to fight no matter what. I think he should've never retired when he did and should've gone back to 154, where he was invincible. Now, he got lazy and don't even want to make 160 where his power is not the same. I don't see him winning especially after the way B-Hop beat Pavlik, but I'll still be rooting for him and screaming: TITO, TITO, TITO at the screen because he is still one of the greatest ever!

I agree that above 154 Tito has no business fighting unless it's another heavy hitter like him but, saying he'd get destroyed at 154 or below? that's just plain ******! I think that if he took it seriously and made 154, he could rule the division. I would love to see him fight Margarito at 154 but that'll never happen.

Just because his fights may have went duller, dosen't mean he has faded alot as a fighter. He may have went down a touch but not much. His last couple of performances have proved this, epsecailly his last one.

                  • 8 years too late with the winner not early getting any credit for the win..even though hopkins beat pavlik, those are once in a lifetime fights, performances and i really believe the weight affected pavlik,,,won't be watching this fight, but i have a feeling a lot of people will, since hopkins is good at selling fights, claiming he will do this and that and then bore us to death holding all night long

                      i am just saying..
it has to be some reason why mayweather was meeting with Don King in flordia recently.... and I seriously can conceive
them talking about a possible match between Tito vs. Floyd

because it is obivous who the biggest draw in Puetro rico is...
and after a tito vs. Floyd match...

if Floyd and Arum and work out their differences
he can follow a that tito fight with a cotto fight...
Your an idiot hes the bigger draw because of his charisma and everything and what he used to do but tito would never ever be able to make a47 or 154 not even 160 so floyd would have to go up to 165 and hes shot hes way slower now. If floyd wants to fight dont fight the old shot fighters fight the real contenders fight cotto or williams.
