I never implied JMM is a bum, but to non-hardcore fans; he's nothing more than a footnote. People do want to see him fight, I just don't see him pulling in numbers he thinks he'll pull in to ask for the large sums of money he's requesting/demanding.

His legacy is already intact... hes a 5 division champion... thats sealed, you cant erase that, especially not by beating up another bum...

Boxing statistics is not the true measure of greatness. Anybody nowadays can rack up titles in different weight classes with all the divisions & bogus organizations.

This just shows how sad the state of boxing is, that two guys getting together, who have little relevance to the future landscape of the sport, especially Trinidad who basically has nothing to do with the sports future, are getting paid well over 10x's what top 10 divisional types would be getting paid to match up against one another.
