Most impressive "coming out of retirement" fights

Since Floyd is coming out of retirement after 2 years, to fight the #2 pound 4 pound fighter in the world as a "tune up" (who is smaller than him) and probably going to fight the #1 p4p fighter manny pacquiao if all goes according to plan, I was thinking historically, what were some impressive out of retirement fights or runs?

Obviously the first that comes to mind is sugar ray leonard moving up in weight after a 3 year layoff and beating the #1 guy and the greatest middleweight of all time Marvin Hagler. I don't think it gets more impressive than that (even if hagler was on the decline). What are some other great ones???

^^I don't think Tyson qualifies as "retired" he was imprisoned against his will, plus he fought Buster Mathis Jr. and Peter McNeeley before he beat Bruno.

I really wouldn't put that up there because as you mentioned it was a shameful performance by Peter.

You need to stop trying to discredit Vitali you jealous American piece of ****.

Peter was the WBC heavyweight champion and was coming off an impressive 6th round KO win over Oleg Maskaev.

Vitali came back after a 4 year layoff and dominated and destroyed Peter. It was a great performance and one of the most impressive "coming out of retirement" victories of all time.

We'll it was a forced Retirement just like Ali, still impressive coming back and beating some top 10 fighters.

Doesn't matter, Vitali did something pretty remarkable.
