Atlas really does hate the Klitschko's. He could be like a poster on this forum sometimes.

Man, whenever they come up, he bashes the **** out of them.

I remember last time he said they are like "watching paint dry".

There are some LBs and DEs who would probably be murderous heavyweights had they been trained from a young age.

Julius Peppers is a prime candidate - 6'7 285, track and triple jump champion.

You jealous inferior Americans need to stop making these pathetic excuses

You all need to man up and admit that Eastern European Heavyweights are SUPERIOR.

It depends on how much credit you want to give them. When someone wants to put Calzaghe's name next to SRR, there is a problem. HOF fighter, yes, but next to SRR, no. It would have been nice to see just how good he was and he could have done that had he met Jones Jr. in his prime. But things don't always work out the way you want them too. Sometimes it's one fighter or the other not making the match, and sometimes it's just bad timing and circumstances. And then you have the other "What could have been." Who knows what Ibeabuchi could have been. Lots of stories like that. Although, I still wonder if Tua or Ike were ever the same after that match.

            For Wlad: we'll see.

            Vitali: we'll see.

I think both are good fighters. For Wlad, I think he has to do what he has to do even if some consider it "boring." And it's not just about him being from the Ukraine; they rip Floyd heavily as well since he became more cautious.

Here is a good line from George Benton:

Win this fight, look good in the next one

As of right now, in the current state, they are at the top for HWs.

But it's not like they went undefeated during this era against Americans either. But still at the top.

if we're going to deal with hypotheticals then in reference to your post and the guy saying Lawrence Taylor would be cream of the crop

2 words, Aleksander Karelin, he would **** either of them in an imaginary, what if this big guy was a world class boxer scenario

Karelin = more of a genetic freak than both of them

He even admits that he hates them.

I think he should at least try to be professional about it though.

It depends on which attribute(s) we are talking about.

But I agree that people basically guaranteeing these guys would be good is a bit ridicules.

Personally, if I had to pick an NFL guy it would have been someone like Bo Jackson. He proved he could play in more than one sport; came from a poverty stricken area that had him as a bully and a killer (of at least one pig by stoning) as a kid; and was really crazy in some of the acts he did in his youth and seemed to have no regret doing it.
