We are comparing Skills/Ring knowledge, not physical stats.

Mayweathers skill can only be compared to ATG's like Whitakaer..SRL...Pep...Toney....Hopkins....RJ...et c...not JMM a guy who gets rocked in every fight.

to be fair you only seem to be taking defensive skill into account

i think JMM has a larger offensive arsenal, and a more potent killer instinct

while Floyd has the far superior defense and more water tight gameplans

I think overall Floyd Mayweather is better skilled. I just wished we were able to see that skill against more quality opponents

JMM isn't too far behind. He has though the one intangible that Floyd doesn'y, and that's heart. He has the better resume and overall better credentials in my opinion as a HoFer

It's tough, but the slight edge goes to Floyd. His defense as well is probably second to Bernard Hopkins only.

Yea JMM has been rocked but never stopped, the guy is a machine. Over looking him like a typical Floyd fan would be ignorant.

JMM is probably the best fighter, skill wise that Mayweather will have ever fought, the only problem is size..JMM hasn't put on any weight since moving up to 135 yet.

You understand, that getting rocked for the first rounds is the means to apply his measuring stick over his opponents? Its pretty obvious, if your into boxing. To which he has publicly acknowledged.

Floyd has certainly earned his spot in, in boxing hall of fame. But falls short to be considered an all time greatest.
