Hes right in saying Hamed was one of the most overrated boxers in History?
He fought "cans" throughout his whole career?? Is that right aswell??
Kevin Kelly gave him problems yeah thats true,
so what??
The end of the day he Ko'd kelly big time.
Kelly caught Naz of balanced alot of the time and you cant say he outboxed him like MAB did. Not making excuses credit to Kelly it was a hell of a fight and a bad showing from Naz.
He got his ass handed to him by MAB?
Yeah barerra outboxed him and showed his flaws alright,
but anyone who knew anything about Naz knew he wasnt prepared and had no interest in boxing anymore he was obsessed with the Attention and relied on his power.
I suggest you watch the documentary "Little Prince Big Fight,"
Barerra outboxed him out-classed him yeah whatever way you wanna put it but he didnt get his as handed to him.
Sure heres the Judges scores:
Chuck Giampa 111-116
Patricia Morse Jarman 112-115
Duane Ford 112-115
Pretty clear win alrigt for Barerra but not as bad as people make it out to be
With that logic you're saying that when naseem fought fighters who actually know how to fight he had a bad showing. Is that coincidence? Naseem fought 2 world class fighters in his entire career and he had a bad showing on both. What does that say?
Like I said, Naz the phenomenon was becoming uncontrollable on multiple levels. And money was undoubtably a part of the split, as Naz spoke afterward of Brendan being "greedy". The growing influence of Naz' family over time didn't seem to help as far as turning his head aginst Brendan, either. To your latter point, you could see that break in the respect between them (especially Naz for Brendan) in the corners in their later fights together. There are 2 sides to every story, but I think Naz made a big mistake leaving Brendan and was probably most to blame for it, if blame can be apportioned.
Big time,
Brendan showed him how to fight and work the way he did,
no one else could of done the job.
Fcuk i mean i wuda paid brendan 50% if i could fight that way lol

It says his style was flawed, but he was still an excellent fighter. Ive always maintained that his style got found out as he went up in class, but there is no denying he was a very naturally skilled fighter with power in both hands. And his resume is not respected enough.
Wayne McCullough was a good fighter.
Paul Ingle hammered Junior Jones. Jones knocked Barrera out and beat him twice.
How many consecutive defences did Johnson have before losing to Hamed?
Bungu had wins over Kennedy McKinney,Danny Romero. You saw what Hamed did to Bungu and you saw what Mckinney did to Junior Jones on the Kelly v Hamed undercard.
Naz is a hero, i defy anyone to say they wouldnt watch one of his fights most of his haters are plainly racist imo.
Im not hating and im definitely not a racist. I enjoyed naseem in his prime pure entertainment, people loved him. But when he fought top ranked fighters he did poor. Thats why in his prime he was overated and thats what this thread is all about.
Imo for a british fighter he done really good, achieved a lot of good things, but he was fighting a lot of fighters past their prime. He did have some power, but if you throw punches from the ground like he did anyone would.

Im guessing you are Big Paulie's ALT? he loves Hamed.
