..I Was Reading A Boxers Autobiography...

And I stumbled upon an interesting note. Long ago in boxing, fighters like Harry Greb and Jimmy Walker actually had their boxing licenses revoked due to performances that are described as 'inadequant' and 'too tame.'

If this were still the norm today, who are some fighters that would suffer the same fate?

That's a decent answer, though he does knock out the amjority of his opponents, the journey to that destination can be QUITE tame.

Andre Dirrell would have gotten suspended after the Stevens fight.

          John Ruiz.

I think this is a little harsh cus these guys are just trying to make a living and all of them work with what they have.

I would like to see a rule where the ref makes them get busy if the fight is too dull though. I was watching an MMA fight and big john told the fighters that if they did not get busy and pick up the action that some one was going to lose a point. That lit a fire in their butt.

Yeah, luckily Dirrell has stepped on the gas successfully. He's actually rather interesting to watch, lately.

Mayweather after Baldomir COULD have got it. But I wouldn't have thought it was fair. What can you do with a guy who has a cinder block for a chin?

Technically if the fight is going on, and no one is doing anything, the ref will take points. It's just that with boxers, a jab would offset when the ref could jump in. It counts as action.
