Why in the world is this being talked abuot? Seriously can someone tell me? Hopkins may be better now then when he beat Trinidad

Wrong. Hopkins at 44 can't be better than what he was at 36. He may be smarter and more experienced now but thats it.

Tito is alot worse than what he was then.

If Hopkins dominated a prime Trinidad, imagine what he would do to a inactive washed up one.

The two fighters and DK can get a deal done all they want, but I can't see HBO buying this fight...especially since they'd have to put it on PPV. There's no way, and without TV, this fight won't happen. Don't worry, guys.

HBO has done a great job cutting back on PPVs this year (though that's pretty much out of necessity, not some great fan-pleasing programming decision); they'll have Pac-Hatton and possibly Mayweather-JMM, and then probably just one or two more for the whole year. This will NOT be one of them.

Nonsense for all parties. And I love Hopkins AND Tito.

Also, a Hopkins-RJJ rematch, as unappealing as THAT is, has about a 500% more likelihood of getting bought and put on HBO PPV, especially after Roy beats Lacy. That would be bad, but it would still make a whole lot more sense than this.

This is a fight no one wants to see, what is this a retirement tour? I'd rather see BHop-RJJ, or better yet, BHop should have just stopped being a cheapskate and fought Adamek. In any case, all these old guys should retire, they have more money than they could ever spend already. What's the point of going on like this?

If this fight is made, I think it's safe to say Dawson - Hopkins will never happen... Can't see Hopkins taking even more of a risk with a more experienced Dawson.
