Don't you *******s get tired of getting owned in every thread, LOL

Shut up with your lies and stop crying like a little *****...lol. They contracted to fight at 134. They even fought for a minor WBC International Lightweight strap, but that was supposed to be only a tuneup fight for Morales for a planned bout at 130 with Pac even before he fought Raheem. Morales was trying to make his way back to 130. That's why they had that doubleheader tuneup. Raheem's previous fight was at lightweight and never went below 135 after that fight.

Don't you ever get tired of owning your dumb self all the time?

I have no problem with him wanting redemption or even fighting Morales but after making that decision he shouldn't have thought he was going to get a lot of credit for beating him.

Let's use a current day example from the man with one of the best resumes in the sport. Bernard Hopkins lost to Roy Jones in 1993 and they haven't been able to make a rematch since. However Bernard and Roy were going to get it on if Roy could still prove he still had it by beating Joe Calzaghe. Roy lost to Joe and Bernard clearly said there was no point in fighting RJ because it would prove nothing. Instead he would go on to seek a Calzaghe rematch
Like I said Raheem was supposed to be only a tuneup for Erik. Him and Manny were getting ready for a grudge match. He beat Manny and Manny wanted to get back at him. Manny did his job beating Velasquez. It's too bad that Erik used Raheem as a keep-busy fight while making his way back to 130. Erik and his team thought they could handle him easy, but Raheem had other ideas and just outran and took potshots at a fat and lethargic Erik. So you see Team Manny had no plans to go to lightweight at the time to fight the winner. The consensus was he was too small for 130 and that his best weight was 126 but he had his sights set only on Erik. Erik too was being deemed not strong enough to campaign above 130 even if he was bigger than Manny.

It's funny you bring up Bhop, but I remember a lot of people deriding Oscar's "WIN" over Sturm (supposed to be in preparation for Bhop). It was glaringly obvious back then that Oscar had no business challenging the top tier middleweights because he was too small, let alone challenging the 160 pound kingpin, yet they kind of swept Sturm aside with a bogus decision so as not to put the Bhop fight in jeopardy, all for the sake of the megabucks.

Raheem run all night long from Morales while throwing and landing punches which made Morales look bad. It even made Freitas look bad.

I don't even know what possessed Erika and his team to pick Raheem as a f**kin' tune-up. Zahir's style and athleticism would've been bad for Erika prime or not prime.

Same thing w/ Barrera, he was trying to make some sort of comeback and they chose Khan of all fighters to f**k with.

I'm not debating whether Pacquiao should have moved up to 135 and as I stated I didn't expect Pacquiao to move up. My main point, which I have repeatedly mentioned, is the fact Morales was coming off a loss both times he faced Manny. You mention Morales was in a tune up, tune ups are usually low risk fights to set up a big fight in the future where both fighters are required to win. Regardless if Morales, as you say, was a great fighter in his prime he shuld have dealt with anyone. Morales did not win he was beaten ten rounds to two, that is not a narrow decision loss, and normally when this happens the major fight doesn't materialise. For example, the middleweight tournament in 2001, there were two fights where the two winners fought each other. I accept your point about it being a "grudge match" and on those grounds the fight makes sense, as the reasons for the fight are more personal. However the fight does not make logical sense if Pacquiao is trying to achieve something great. I just watched the post-match analysis of Morales-Raheem and Pacquiao's face drops and Lampley says "it looks like Manny Pacquiao is going to have to find a new opponent for his next fight". I am not mentioning Lampley to strengthen my argument by using a well known figure in boxing instead too add significace, I am just emphasising that on common logic everyone would think the fight would be called off.

Also I just want to say Pacquiao made the right move for financial and reputational reasons by beating a legend and further enhancing his name in boxing however in boxing terms the fight didn't make sense.

Bringing up Oscar is irrelevant, I used an example merely to make my point more understood, we are discussing Morales vs Pacquiao II
