Inactivity versus Fighting at a higher weight...

I am ok with this fight...I give Floyd a little less credit because it SHOULD be at 140 if hes going to fight Marquez... But it isnt that bad given Floyds lay off and Marquez's p4p status
      spot on reed..spot on

My problem is that JMM has NO business at 140. He hardly has any business at 135. He moved up to 140 to chase Pac, and to chase big money fights. Floyd, while he's a small WW, fought there for a couple years. I mena people can give me all the stats they want, but Floyd has a significant size and strength advantage.

I don't blame Floyd for taking this fight.

But I don't think it would be a great win by any means.

Thats 2 diviion right tere thats 9 ****ing pounds.

JMM doesnt even weight more than 140 pounds, he will actually will need to get fat, to gain weight, because he dont even weight that.

You just kill your argument with the bold.

If Floyd is a small WW, then go to 140, it will be easy since he is a small WW. there is a division for small WWs is call JWW in case you didnt know!!!!!

Wait, and I really wanna know where this is coming from.

I see everyone acting as if it's like a done deal that Marquez agreed to 144, but I haven't heard anything about that yet.

I agree, jmm is a tune-up; but even as a tune-up he has small a chance to upset a rustly floyd who hasn't fought over a year

Sure it's possible. But what bothers me is that Floyd is gonna talk about how he beat the #2 P4P fighter and act as if it's this other worldly achievement.

I love Floyd, he's one of my favorite fighters, but that would bother me. Don't try and play this off as a massive win. Let's call it what it is; a fight where he has all the advantages and is taking advantage of an older fighter chasing after a pay day.

He just knocked out Cassamyor AND Juan Diaz at 135... I think he has just as much business aat 135 as ANYBODY

The difference between 140, and 147.. is 7 pounds...

The difference between 135 and 140 is 5 pounds...

If they are going to fight at 143-144... its pretty damn close to a single move up in weight...
