Yep i agree. They fought in different era's hence why its difficult to compare.

People go overboard with what he says, it affects them too much. In his genuine interviews he always praises previous fighters and leaves it as 'they were greats in their era's, im great in mine'.

Still thinking you are the best ever at what you do is not that bad. He put a metric **** ton of work into his craft so he should feel how he likes about what he has done with his whole life (pretty much).

True, you dont fight for 30 years not thinking your the best.

And when he says it, i doubt he's trying to critisize the Ray Robinson, Ali's etc etc.

He said it, I can't remember where but I heard him say it it went along the lines of "I respect what they did for the sport but I don't fight and try hard to go off and say that someone from 50 years ago was greater than me"

            Something similar to that

Ask Kobe Bryant if he thinks hes better then Michael Jordan.... See what he says.

I dont think he's intentonally trying to discredit them as he's never critisized them.

Most fighters are humble, Foreman believes he would get beaten by guys like Lewis. ALi said Tyson would beat him.

It may not be true, but atleast most fighters are respectful...
