How many boxers had to fight their way out of poverty? about 93%.He said he's given boxing 30 years of his life and he trained his soul out to get him family out of poverty. He said he will never say a fighter is better than him due to the struggles he's gone through and due too how many years he's given the sport.
Nothing wrong with what he's saying.Comment

Precisely, hence why guys like Floyd find it difficlut to give others credit for the same troubles they had to go through to become great fighters. Hence why he says, they were great in their respective era's and i'm great in my era.
No big deal.Comment

That's actually not what he said. He said something along the lines of how he worked hard to get where he's at, and there's nothing wrong considering yourself the best given all the work he's put in, and accomplishments he's made. I mean, if he feels that way, cool. We all know the truth.
This was the same interview where he considered himself "the best to ever lace em up" Brian Kenny said "Better than ali and srr" Floyd said "absolutely"Comment

SRR did more then him in his career, and had less...Comment

Floyd said exactly this,
"I respect what Robinson and Ali have done for this sport. But I am the greatest and this is my time"Comment

The best of his era? maybe.... to discredit TRUE ATG's and say hes better then them? is absolute ignorance. That's actually not what he said. He also made a reference to it when asked by Kenny on ESPN.
