i have a feeling hatton will go down sooner than david did. david is severely underrated.
david diaz is sure one tough nail to be able to absorb all those power punches of manny all 9 rounds. ricky will not be able to withstand that kind of battering. look how ricky cringed in some of his past fyts, and how easily he succumb when floyd started hitting him good.

He's trying to convince himself he can win, but he knows that he's going to get KTFO.

Hatton says: "I don't think Manny is the most elusive. He comes very square on and he's there to be hit"

Funny that this is coming for a guy who likes to consistently charge inside head first. Rickey, you better hope Mayweather Sr. has fixed the holes in your game or you getting another check-hook to lead you to the canvas!

I hardly think that this is what I'd call a "verbal attack on Pacquiao". I think that here, Ricky is commenting upon his take on Manny's style of fighting, and I don't believe that he meant any discrepect to Oscar at all. In fact, if you watch the interview, he even prefaces his statment on the oscar fight with the statment that me means "no disrespect to my friend oscar" (1:01). Whether one considers Ricky's statments in the interview (on Manny, Diaz, and Oscar) to be true or false is one's own opinion. The simple fact is, however, that Ricky hardly intended insult by any of these comments.

if hatton expects the pacman that he envisions, he's in a big surprise... but hatton's wrestling will be the biggest factor if bayless lets hatton do it

                Hatton is right

I don't see where Hatton disrespected Manny, what he said is totally true. Manny should be called Manufactured Pacquiao. He is a manufactured fighter to stay away from certain fighters. He beat up a lot of old way past there prime fighters and fighters with no skills at all. Who the hell is David Diaz..Name me one young fighter that he beat? Freddie Roach is very over rated as well. Manny has been stopped by bodyshots. I know he can't take a body shot.

At least Hatton has a career in the WWE after he loses this fight, because all he does is wrestle. That's how he beat Tszyu and that's how he'll have to fight to beat Pac.

Hopefully the referee is smart enough to prevent this from happening again.

i agree, fought guys past their primes, and avoids certain fighters who are ranked...oscar is past his prime, way past, david diaz along with ponce de leon is one or was on one the worst champs ever....morales beat him and pacman insisted on a certain weight they fight, smart move by him.....i think he should fight the young challengers,ortiz,etc...these are the type of guys he avoids

Are you kidding? You're talking about early in a career. Being stopped 10 years ago means nothing. Manny has improved and he took some monster shots from Marquez that would have knocked out Ricky Hatton.

If you're expecting a body shot knockout you're in for a LONG wait.
