How are fighting the #1 & 2 P4P fighters in the sport not considered risks?

why don't he fight the klits brothers?? they are the best right?? or maybe calderon?? the purest boxer in the sport

Both Pac and JMM are around his weight and Floyd has fought at the weights they are fighting in. The only negative thing I see about this is that Floyd wants to fight them at WW.

Please be real. Calderon can be ranked the best P4P fighter. Would you consider him to beat everyone from every weight class? That is so dumb.
Is Marquez and Pacquiao suppose to rule every weight class going all the weight to middle weight. The fact that they will just fight one fight and then return to their normal weight just says they're going up in weight just for the money and not because they believe they cant beat everyone.

Whats worst is that most Mayweather fans know this and even Mayweather its just an excuse to defend him so he doesn't look bad, but its pretty obvious he's
playing it safe not necesarily because he can't beat some of the bigger fighters, but because he scared he might lose or might embarrass himself.

Cotto-Pacquiao will ahppend after cotto-Clotttey.(By teh way, i dont agree with that fight, but it will happend). SO either Floyd rematches hatton or fight Mosley while Cotto and PAcquiao tangles.

Floyd....who can make 140-147.
Pac.....140-147
JMM...140-144.

Then fights can be made with those 3.

You have the P4P 1a...P4P 1b....and the P4P 1c.

Its gets no better then that.

If PBF want's a tune-up he shoud fight some ranked WW. I really dont give a damn who it is. But then call it what it is: A tune-up.

And if he wants to fight a lightweight at 147 (or slightly lower) then don't sell it as a competitive fight with the p4p no.2. Such a 'fight' just isn't legit.
