The legal situation involving undefeated junior middleweight James Kirkland is not getting any better. On Sunday Kirkland was arrested when a firearm was found in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Austin, Texas. Kirkland, who is currently on probation for a 2003 armed robbery charge, was booked by the Travis County Sheriff's Department and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. [details]

He was on probation after doing 2 yrs (I think) for armed robbery. Thus, he's a convicted felon and its illegal for a convicted felon to own (unregistered at that) a handgun.
He is in federal custody w/o parole, homeboy just kissed his career good byeComment
