If this was two years ago, pre-Pavlik losses, Taylor wins this hands down. A tall, pressure fighter that works behind the jab and comes forward is bad news for Taylor, and Froch fits the mold. In terms of pure boxing ability, Jermain Taylor has the edge, but I see this going late rounds KO 10 for Froch. Froch has power and a chin that Jermain is going to get frustrated with when he can't hurt him. I wouldn't bet on Taylor here.

If Taylor is beaten in an impressive fashion, he will be in the position that Lacy is in now. He will be a somewhat marketable name, but there would be little notoriety gained from beating him.
