GunzNButter, i wasnt actually making the arguement for floyd but i just re read my post and the first paragraph makes it sound like it was. It is meant to read just like a typical arguement that two people might have about floyd, if you read it again you might see, or you might not cos its pretty badly written ill admit.
I agree with you about floyd and id love to see him put to bed this thing with mosley and cotto really. There is no doubt this welter devision has been pretty stacked with talent for years now, its a pity really that floyd has not taken part in it.... i agree that if he cant make light welter then he should fight some welters, end of storyComment

If you really look at it, it's the same thing when you are making a new division. You are still bending the interpretation of what the fight says you are supposed to be doing.
When it says: Welterweight Fight...what Weight is that?
The best way to fight the b.s. that is going on is go your own way because that is how we got here in the first place. That's how we got Gatti-Gamache.
Why do we have divisions? Why label a division with a weight-number and call a fight 147 pound/WW fight when few are showing up at 147?Last edited by Benny Leonard; 04-21-2009, 12:35 PM.Comment

Rules of the game that allow you to not come in at the actual weight of the division, right?

Because Floyd is too much of a ***** to fight an actual welter?
