i cant give you a Rican's point of view but as a fight fan, not even close

tito was a bon-a-fide legend that KILLED everyone...juanma's just a pup at this point...a pit bull pup but a pup nonetheless

      Interesting. # 2 and # 3 could switch, but Tito is still # 1.

You mean to become part of the US?

        Ironic.

Will they buy into just because Tito says so?

There is much more nationalistic pride at stake when Juan Ma goes into the ring, much more than any other champion in the history of PR.

Mind you, this is only the opinion of 2 Puerto Ricans. Is this a true statement?
I find that very hard to believe...

Tito is a PROVEN fighter and future HOF. Juan Ma is JUST getting to the point of stardom and is possibly fighting his toughest opponent come this weekend. Cotto if anything is Puerto Rico's main focus as far as stars out of the country are concerned. Plus, Tito's adored by the majority of Puerto Ricans and is very prideful of Puerto Rico to say the least. In a few years we can possibly say the same about Juan Ma, but it's simply way too early.
