    Juan Ma vs Tito

I just spoke to a couple of my Puerto Rican friends and they said that as much as they loved and respected Tito, the love they show towards Juan Ma cannot even compare. It's a different vibe they feel between Tito and Juan Ma. They say with Juan Ma, it goes even deeper than boxing. There is much more nationalistic pride at stake when Juan Ma goes into the ring, much more than any other champion in the history of PR.

Mind you, this is only the opinion of 2 Puerto Ricans. Is this a true statement?

I thought so too, that's why I wanted to find out if it's true. I wish I could hear from PR fans.

False. Tito is like a King here. Juanma is next. Cotto is the one that doesn't get love. Personally I prefer Cotto at least he is an inteligent guy, that knows how to talk and express himself, not like Tito that people can't understand him even in Spanish. I mean, at least Cotto is educated and a gentleman. That's just my opinion.

It's funny you say this because they didn't even mention Cotto in our conversation. No love at all, huh?

I had the same feeling because Tito was huge when he ruled top of the charts. I was thinking it's because Juan Ma is about to break out and be the next superstar and Tito has been inactive lately.
