I talked to clottey on facebook and he told me he tried to get fights after the zab judah fight and no one wanted to fight him that he contacted cintron but he choose martinez he also said he contacted shane mosley and paul williams

They never spoke. Clottey's camp put out a feeler to Williams' team to gauge interest. There was none. None. Not even an offer or pretending to entertain the idea - not saying they were ducking, they just had zero interest.

I wanted to see Wright vs Williams rather than Clottey vs Williams. I wouldn't give clottey much of a chance against Williams, his guard is identical to Winky's but Winky is more skillfull.
