Geez, you think people will make thread and at least know their ****. This fight did not happen because Clottey was scared and HBO did not want to put up the funds. They wanted Winky instead

It ain't true. Marg was gonna rematch Clottey in Novemeber, but he needed more recovery time form the Cotto fight. Pwill and Clottey turned their attention to each other and HBO couldn't get it done. Neither of those guys dodged either.

It is true. Kwame Asante, trainer of Clottey, confirmed that he did reach out to the Williams camp when both were without dance partners last year. Stated that he and Josh were willing to negotiate if Williams was interested. They never got a call back.

It should be mentioned that Asante knows Williams well - one of his fighters fought him (and lost) earlier in Williams' career. However, he says he saw some flaws in PW and would love for Josh to at least get the opportunity - that's why they're still calling him out.

In other words...shut up, Malcolm.

I believe that having an "ignore list" is childish, but then again, in your case, Flawless, it is necessary...

There's so much **** that goes into negotiating a fight. I'm sure neither fighter would be afraid to face each other.

It's good to know taht a fighter in the welterweight division had the cojones to call out PW other than Quintana. Too bad HBO ****ed it up for the fans. Maybe when these news came out I was busy with other things in real life. Contrary to Malcolm or ViVa Mexico, I got a real and good life...

It never got to HBO. The fight died much earlier than that.
