You shouldn't. Yes there are posters out there like Tunney, who do hate on Mayweather because he's black, but that is not the case for the majority of Mayweather's haters.

I have been the perfect example of this. I have never questioned Mayweather's ability. He is the greatest fighter today and would beat pretty much anyone they put in the ring with him. However, I have criticized him in the past for his disrespect to the game and so on. It is not race related at all. It has everything to do with the fact that I see UNMATCHED potential in him, and it pains me that he doesn't want to be the greatest of all time. You may say he is, he may say he is, hell I might even say he is (talent wise), but until he silences the critics by beating Mosley, Cotto, and other top welters, he won't be.

As I've said many times on this forum, painting with broad brush strokes can be very problematic.
