Only went Prime v Prime against 1 guy in his prime, Mayweather, and lost.

He needs to face Cotto or Mosley imo.

oh wait no PBF is bigger than Hatton i forgot.

Selective memory methinks, screaming Bias and hate to me.

Hatton just wants to fight big names that generate him lots of money and look good on his resume, In Malinaggi's case he was No2 in the division and IBF belt that Ricky wanted back.

but as usual when Hatton won, Paulie was Shot/rubbish/injured/over-rated. basicly anything to take credit from Hatton really. Same with Tzsyu, Castillio, Collazo et al.
Also Urango. Hatton gets no credit for beating him fairly easy.

While I agree, I can see now what you would write if Hatton beat SSM or Cotto.

        SSM is old/shot.
Cotto never recovered from margacheato he's shot.

How can a fighter be in his prime when he is close to 36 years old, had 3 series injuries that needed surgery, that led to long periods of inactivity, had only fought 9 rounds in 3 years, was having trouble making weight, and didn't have the same will/fight in him like he did when he was younger...let alone the decline of his agility and speed?

Just because the man was undefeated in that time doesn't mean he was at his best.

Was Joe Louis in/around his prime when he lost to Ezzard Charles?
He must have been, right? After all, he hadn't lost since Schmeling.

It means he was near enough to it

Hatton defeated a world-class fighter in his prime in November, Paulie Malignaggi.

He's defeated several others in the past such as the very tough Urango.

You have a very broad interpretation.

What about Jones jr. when he lost to Tarver? At his best?

Discrediting Hatton now, Benny? First Calzaghe, then Marciano, then the Klitschkos, now Hatton. I think I see a pattern here.
