Marquez did hurt Pacman a couple of times.Mayweather is fast than Marquez and Pacman is predictable though he's fast.He just gets in and out.Floyd is smart even roach said Floyd would make an ugly fight.

This is a big money fight.Floyd is an attraction because many people want to see him getting beat.Besides the Pacman couldnt do 2.4 million buys with Oscar.Lets see how many buys he does with hatton to see how good he is.

That's because 3/4 of the people didn't want to watch ODLH anymore, and those same people all felt Manny was so small that Oscar would destroy him, or make it a low-action, boring fight. Now that we know the outcome, many people wish they would have seen it.

Floyd would run, but he would get beat to the punch by Manny every single time.

Comparing Marquez to Mayweather and using that as a gauge to a fight between Mayweather and Pacquaio is flawed logic. Fighter A beats fighter B, and fighter B beats fighter C does NOT mean that fighter A beats fighter C. It has never worked that way in boxing.

the only way for mayweather to get a bigger slice of the pie is if he actually fights a threat in his weight class (WW) and beat that threat namely (cotto, mosely or williams). right now he doesnt have anything on PAC except his mouth

This is so true. But Floyd Mayweather would never fight the top WW's. He didn't when he was considered a champ in that division, and he wouldn't when he comes back. He will only fight JMM, Pac, or Hatton. All guys who are naturally smaller and would be at a disadvantage jumping up to 147.

I think floyd might settle for 40%. After all, you put mayweather in with anyone other than pacquiao, hatton or cotto and it's not a big money fight!
