It's pretty hard to embrace the realm of reality among the Gayweather nuthugger here...
PBF, is on the brink of getting broke... that's why he wants to fight again and wants a lion's share of the pie. And promoters know that.
So, if PBF wants to fight again... go after JMM or Sugaroid Mosley... start from there...
And whoever wins on May 2, maybe you could beg them to give you a fight. For sure, Hatton wants a rematch.
The only thing PBF know is to fight... when he reach the age of a "real" retirement, he will be one of the many statistics a fighter getting broke after all the glits and glamour....
Pacman, he said two more fights and he's done.... He will run again for a congressional seat at his hometown... at least he's got a fall back.... hahahaha....
Poor PBF, getting broke... you may want to get in touch with the McMahon's... give WWE another shot... hahahaha... funny guy...

But based on their fights with DLH, Mayweather was the bigger draw.

Then again, Pac is probably a bigger draw now than he was then, because of the way he beat DLH. And if he beats Hatton, he'll be a bigger draw still.
...partly because almost everybody believes that is was a "mismatch", a lot even vocally boycotted the fyt. and partly still because of the worldwide economic turmoil. Ricky-Manny has all the makings of a mega-chartbuster!

Fight-Time weight is the Most Important thing...at least to me. I'm not a fan of fighters trying to make weight for the scales because then you have the chance of unhealthy fighters or worse, a Gatti vs. Gamache type fight; although what a knock-out.

Pac was 147 when he fought Diaz at lightweight. Floyd is 149 usually for his WW bouts. Pac should come in at 147+ against Hatton. Pac was 152 pounds with 6% bodyfat while training for Oscar (according to Freddie Roach). 147/WW shouldn't be a problem. They could even put a "cap" on the weight allowed to gain by fight-time. Say, 149 tops or just have it at 147; the acutal weight of the division.
Both Pac and Floyd have fought at WW; so what's the problem?
this is a novel idea man.... innovative, great!
yes, both boxers can agree to "put a cap" on their weights by fyt nyt?? This can be mandated/incorporated in the boxing rules even. takes away the advantage of being "much" bigger come fyt time.

Still I believe cotto is next for manny if he gets by ricky!! Floyd has no belt to bring to the table. Glory, boxing immortality,..more than money!

Wouldn`t Mayweather and Cotto be too big for Marquez and Pacquiao respectively?

Manny is capable of beating Hatton but WW would be be too big for him...

It's official this fight will never happen. NO WAY IN HELL Floyd would take anything lower than 50 percent against Manny and vica versa.

the only way for mayweather to get a bigger slice of the pie is if he actually fights a threat in his weight class (WW) and beat that threat namely (cotto, mosely or williams). right now he doesnt have anything on PAC except his mouth

what does mayweather fighting and beating a WW have to do with the split he'll receive against pacman? manny's a JWW, so if floyd fights a WW and wins, ppl will be saying the fight is a mismatch, you got a WW fighting a JWW.

manny's a JWW, marquez is a JWW, so mayweather beating a WW is irrelevant.

mayweather should get a split, not only b/c he IS the bigger star, but also b/c pacman is now making his name fighting fighters mayweather already beat.
