When he comes out of retirement he would have to fight a prime WW somewhere down the track or everyone will start criticizing him about it.

This is the type of response that alienates alot of people. Your thought process is, judging by that statement, that the championship makes the fighter. That is incorrect. The fighter makes the championship. Carlos Baldomir has to be one of the weakest title holders in the WW division I've seen.

Wins over any of these guys: Cotto, Mosley, Judah, Margarito or Williams would be held in higher regard. Why? Because they're better fighters. Lineal this or that doesn't mean anything to me or to others because the fighters I've aforementioned are much, much better than a former feather duster.

You do see the logic in this don't you? I'm not trying to insult or belittle you BTW it just in my estimation doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this stuff out.

Two things about your post that you don't acknowledge. Mayweather was always a small welterweight. So, you're greatly exaggerating the size difference. Second, even if it were true that Mayweather was a natural welterweight there is not a single great fighter below heavyweight who doesn't have wins against smaller fighters. To single Mayweather out for this Marquez fight as though it's not something guys like Hopkins and Hagler did as well is just pure ignorance and bias.

              Agree with this completely.

Zsolt Erdei is the lineal light heavyweight champ. Do you think the other champs give a **** about him?
Of course not. Baldomir beat Judah who is took two tries to beat Spinks and then beat killer Cosme Rivera..... wow....

If Floyd fights JMM and wins.

And Cotto fights Pac and wins.

Cotto vs. Mayweather will happen. Floyd knows that coming back to just fight Marquez is weak, and I'm a huge fan of both guys.
