This was a signature fight for Donaire. I had some concerns if Donaire would be able to deal with this young, versatile contender but Donaire took him apart. The fight might have been able to continue but really, what was the point? Martinez was getting killed in there, best to let him fight another day.

They shouldn't even need to speak english in their own country.

                asian sensation! kamusta?

the philippine boxing scene looks pretty good lately...

i hope chris john gets the nod over juarez next time out so asian fighters get noticed more there in america... and that yordan guy who fought guerrero should be given more exposure...

a lot of deserving fighters here in this continent...

                  Mabuti pareng Talip, kumusta na?

I'm interested in the rematch because the first fight was really close. I can understand why the judges gave it a draw because both men shined at different stages and showed real heart.

Yordan reminded me of a light-punching Pacquiao the way he jumped in and then dipped off to the side to avoid the counter. He's a very good fighter.

thought i was the only one who was impressed wih yordan.i like what i saw vs guerrero though it's a lil early to say he's great.guerrero not continueing was disappointing for fans but it was a smart move for him!i think he woul've continued if yordan was not a threat.
